Good place for my brother. The people really care and do their best for him. Thank you all!
I can’t say enough good things about Overland Park Post Acute Care and the staff who have cared for my mother and sister ❤️ From the moment they became part of their care, I’ve truly appreciated the compassion, patience and kindness they have shown. Knowing that my loved ones are being cared for by people who genuinely take the time to listen, help and treat them with dignity means so much to our family. I especially appreciate the staff members who go above and beyond not only caring for their physical needs but also making them feel seen, respected and cared about. That kind of care makes a tremendous difference to both the residents and their families. As a family member having peace of mind that your loved ones are in a place where people care about them is priceless. I’m grateful for everyone at Overland Park Post Acute Care who has played a part in their care. Thank you for everything you do every day. I would definitely recommend Overland Park Post Acute Care to families looking for a place where their loved ones can receive compassionate and respectful care.
My mother came to this facility a few months ago and she has improved a whole lot. From day one Guitar stayed on top of things to get my mother transferred. I will say she has never let me down!! I thank you all and appreciate the love you show my mommy!!
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My aunt was transported so she could return home. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. She received little to no rehabilitation or exercises, and her basic care was neglected. Her bed sheets were not changed, and she was left sitting in urine for several days. As a result, her condition worsened, and she developed pneumonia. This was an incredibly upsetting experience for our family. We trusted this facility to care for her and help her recover, but instead we felt her health declined while she was there. I would not recommend Overland Park Post Acute to anyone looking for quality care for an elderly loved one or any patient referred from KU Hospital to Overland Park Post Acute to receive rehabilitation and regain her strength.
The only place in town that I’d be willing to send either of my parents. The management over there really knows what they’re doing, and it shows in everything they do.
Overland Park Post Acute has been extremely helpful. Guitar is Amazing. She made the whole process stress free. And she’s available for any questions about your loved one. This place is always clean. The staff are always friendly. The staff are always doing something with the patients. I’d be happy to live there if I ever needed.
Whoever is answering the phone is very unpleasant to speak with. The communication is unprofessional and makes it difficult to get the information I need.
Everyone is always so nice! Very good to individuals living at Post Acute, always well staffed in willing to help.
my experience has been very good. The staff are friendly and very caring people. good vibes so far.
My sister Wilma Trublode was in the TV room, which is good. It means she was up & dressed this morning. Staff was accommodating and helped me with her clothes. I am worried though, as she seems to be getting weaker and not communicating well.
I was “saved” by a friend from being discharged to a different long term acute rehab facility. There are are people here that genuinely care about me , my health, and well being as a person. I’ve seen recent facility improvements and I am confident they will continue. The management has taken time to personally visit with me asking for feedback and anything I feel could be improved. They listen and respond with respect and courtesy. I would recommend this facility to other people in my current health position.
Overland Park Post Acute near 1003rd and Nall is a growing facility with excellent nursing and administrative staff. The facility is able to meet the needs of many different types of patients and is available for rehabilitation, nursing home and also has a controlled locked unit to ensure a safe environment for those who suffer of Alzheimer’s, Dementia and intellectual disabilities. The facility is undergoing a complete remodel and is also very clean. They offer private and semi-private rooms with the ability to control the temperature of your room. The administrator has an open door policy. They offer daily activities including a big surprise on a recent afternoon, they featured a petting zoo for all residents who did not pose a flight risk. I recently transferred to OPPA from a different facility and immediately became aware of a vast improvement. While no healthcare facility is perfect, I confidently encourage you to consider OPPA for yourself or a loved one.
This place sucks. Everything about it is low quality!
Bad
Placed my uncle in this facility, best decision! Clean facility and attentive staff. Guitar is amazing she made everything easy and seamless. Always available if I have questions or concerns.
My husband has been here a little over a year now. I am very happy with the care he is receiving. Nothing can be perfect, but the staff is very caring. When I ask questions about his care, they are very helpful and do their best to answer my questions. It’s a smaller place, which I appreciate. Hospice helped us get him placed and several of the hospice nurses have told me that it is one of the nicest places they go into.
I have been here for over a month and have had great care the whole time. The staff has been more than accommodating! All my needs are always met in a timely manner, and it’s clean, and I love my nurses, CNA’s, and all of the staff. My social worker Sheila is amazing, it’s just obvious that everyone here cares about my health care experience here. I would recommend this place based on my own experience here.
So appreciative of the great care and attention to people’s needs!
Everyone very helpful
With the new ownership management has a taken steps to address past issues — they’ve replaced some less reliable staff and have been more responsive to maintenance requests. It’s clear they’re trying to improve both the building and the overall living experience. The resident community has also changed for the better. It feels safer, and more respectful than before. Overall, it’s clear they’re committed to turning things around. It’s not perfect yet, but the progress is real — and the care has gotten much better. The care is better because the staff has improved.
Great Place .
